After reading and writing many BL stories, I finally made the move to share what I love doing. And maybe you should too. In The Geek’s Guide to Writing BL Novels in English I share with you what I know and enjoy about the genre and how to publish your stories on the Kindle Book Store.
This book is for you if you enjoy reading BL (in any format, manga, soft novels and novels), if you have ever written BL stories and are hidden away, or if you’re just curious and you would like to give it a shot.
This is an easy guide that will help you get your story into the Kindle Book Store and get monthly residuals (which is good and feels amazing)! Also, if you don’t know much about BL (also known as yaoi for its more erotica version), you will find a short introduction to it where you can find also some interesting insights on where to find some inspiration for your stories.
BL, or boys love, lives within the umbrella of romance, a genre which is rich in tension, amazing characters and drama. The more human your characters are, the more compelling the tension, the more interesting the story.
But stories alone cannot make things happen in the Kindle Store with so much competition. I share how to place your book in the correct shelf too :)
